Since 2007, Biovie has been selecting organic cold-pressed oils, raw organic spices dried at a maximum of 42°C, living vinegars with marine plasma, and artisan Breton raw condiments. The principle remains unchanged: each product must retain all its nutrients, enzymes, and active compounds. No chemical solvents on the oils. No industrial heating on the spices.

🌿 Organic cold-pressed vegetable oils

In practice, what differentiates a true cold-pressed oil from a refined oil is the extraction: mechanical, without hexane, without solvents, without excessive heating. The essential fatty acids, vitamins, and natural antioxidants remain intact. An industrial oil, on the other hand, undergoes deodorization and decolorization at high temperatures - processes that degrade nutritional value and can generate trans fatty acids. That's why we stick to this criterion at Biovie.

Five oil profiles, five uses:

> Organic camelina oil, cultivated in the Gard by Sanctum Méditerranée, pressed at less than 35°C, contains 33 to 40% ALA (essential omega-3) with a high vitamin E (tocopherols) content, making it significantly more stable to oxidation than flaxseed oil, and much easier to store daily. Mild taste, almond notes, a bit of vegetal freshness. The ideal rotation if you already use flaxseed oil. Do not heat.

> Organic flaxseed oil, from Yssé (certified organic French producer), is the most concentrated in omega-3: 50 to 60% ALA according to the Ciqual table. The downside: it oxidizes quickly, store in the refrigerator after opening, and consume quickly. In rotation with camelina, it's a very well-balanced combination.

> Organic hemp oil for food (also Yssé) is distinguished by its omega-3/omega-6 ratio close to 1:3 - one of the most documented plant balances.

🫚 Raw organic spices: turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, vanilla

42°C maximum. That's the line we don't cross for dehydrating our spices. Industrial dehydration often exceeds 100°C — enzymatically, it's a disaster. At 42°C, thermolabile active principles remain intact.

> Organic raw turmeric is the most documented spice in the category. Its active ingredient, curcumin, is absorbed at less than 1% into the bloodstream when consumed alone. When combined with the piperine in black pepper (90/10 ratio), absorption is increased by 20 times according to the study by Shoba et al. (Planta Medica, 1998). With an added fat (olive oil, hemp, or plant-based milk), it's the most complete combination, as curcumin is fat-soluble.

Also available in powder form ready to use and raw quality (turmeric carefully sliced by our supplier Croc'en Vie, then dehydrated at a low temperature of 42°C for 55 hours)

> Organic ginger slices, from Madagascar, infuse in 10 to 15 minutes in hot water - flavors much more intense than pre-packaged powdered ginger, and certified organic: can be infused with the skin without pesticide risk. The EMA (Zingiber officinale) recognizes its support for digestion and antiemetic properties.

Also available in powder form ready to use and raw quality (ginger carefully sliced by our supplier Croc'en Vie, then dehydrated at a low temperature of 42°C for 55 hours)

> Organic Ceylon cinnamon sticks (Cinnamomum verum), from Madagascar via Floribis. Not the Cassia found in supermarkets - this species contains high levels of coumarin, potentially hepatotoxic in high doses according to the EFSA. Ceylon is naturally very low in it: daily, without risk. Dosage: 1 to 2 g per day maximum.

> Organic Bourbon vanilla powder, directly from Floribis - 30 hectares of Ecocert certified plantation in Vohémar, Madagascar. With this level of traceability in-store, it's almost impossible. Obtained by dry grinding of selected whole pods, it contains about 2% vanillin, which characterizes gourmet quality Bourbon vanillas. A pinch is enough.
Ready to use, no preparation: in your raw desserts, smoothies, porridges, plant-based milks, pastries, or in a simple fruit kefir for a natural sweet note. Storage: 36 months away from light, in an airtight container.

🥣 Raw Broth and Croc'en Vegetables: The Living Condiments

Two artisanal Breton creations, made by Croc'enVie (Armand's workshop, in Ploemeur), with a simple rule: dehydrate at less than 42°C, without preservatives, without artificial flavor enhancers, without additives. Just concentrated organic ingredients.

> The raw broth of organic superfoods combines in a single sachet what no industrial bouillon cube offers: olive oil, sprouted buckwheat, hatcho miso, raw turmeric and ginger, spirulina, hemp, reishi, Breton seaweed, nettle. 1 tablespoon in 300 to 500 ml of warm water (maximum 40°C to preserve enzymes). Never boil. The umami comes from naturally fermented hatcho miso — without enhancers.

> The Croc'en Vegetables with Tiger Nut is a unique crunchy condiment: Sliced tiger nut (32%) combined with 14 other raw organic ingredients: hulled hemp, sprouted buckwheat, chia, Breton seaweed, nettle, turmeric, ginger, cardamom, black pepper.
1 to 2 tablespoons on a salad, soup, or cereals - in a second, about fifteen ultra-nutritious ingredients on your plate. Gluten-free, 100% vegan.
