🌿 Its virtues:

• It is one of the best sources of alpha-linolenic acid in your diet. This essential fatty acid, of the omega-6 type, cannot be synthesized by the human body, although it is essential for its proper functioning. It is a metabolic precursor for other fatty acids that contribute to maintaining proper cellular function and anti-inflammatory reactions, highlighting its importance.

• More generally, the fatty acids contained in linseed oil are beneficial for cardiovascular health, immunity, and provide energy to our brain cells.

• Several studies in the USA and Canada conducted on mice demonstrate an anti-tumor effect in breast cancer. The omega-3s in flaxseed oil could more generally slow the development of cancer cells.

• Budwig Cream: banana, cottage cheese, ground oilseeds, ground cereals, lemon juice, and a few tablespoons of flaxseed oil, mix everything together and add fresh fruits. The perfect raw breakfast to start the day off right !

• When applied to the skin, it hydrates and improves its elasticity. Its texture penetrates easily, leaving your skin supple and without tightness. Surprisingly, its oily appearance should not scare those with oily-prone skin, as linseed oil is known for its rebalancing effect.

• Shine mask for hair: 1/2 cup of honey, 1/2 cup of linseed oil, and 4 drops of rosemary essential oil. Apply to dry hair, leave on for 30 minutes, then wash hair as usual.

• To avoid split ends and breakage, apply it directly to your ends 1 hour before your shampoo.

• Tip if your oil is rancid: you can wax your wooden furniture with it, used alone or with turpentine, it will nourish and waterproof the wood. It can also be used to treat porous natural stone floors.

The storage tanks are equipped with a floating lid system (similar to the system used for wine preservation) to limit oxidation during storage.

To ensure the best quality, the oil is packaged very quickly after pressing. The filling is done with nitrogen injection to reduce oxidation during storage in the canister.

The seeds and oils are analyzed by an external laboratory according to a control plan (microbiology, mycotoxin, heavy metals, acidity, fat content, allergens, dioxin, PAH, etc.). The fatty acid profiles (including omega 3 and 6) are conducted on each type of seed according to the control plan. This allows us to confirm the values indicated on the labels.
