Note : the development of brown spots on the outer skin does not imply a deterioration of the water and flesh, the coconuts being waterproof. Quite simply, the shell oxidizes after a while, just like the skin of a banana can turn black. It's completely normal !
Open them, plant a straw and taste them if you have any doubt, it's the best way to know !

The light brown coloring of coconuts is perfectly normal. Fresh organic coconuts can be stored in the refrigerator for at least 3 weeks after receipt, or even longer.

🥥 It is very important to consume fresh coconut water immediately after it has been exposed to air. Indeed, this water is a unique and sterile mixture, free from any microbial infection, and exposure to air or, worse, sterilization, greatly destroys the active micronutritional principles of the coconut. Among these micronutrients are lauric acid (which is only found in coconut and breast milk), iron, potassium, magnesium, calcium, sodium, and phosphorus chloride.
The potassium content in the water of a fresh coconut is twice as high as what is found in a banana, which is already extremely rich in it. Moreover, these are micronutrients that are directly bioavailable and assimilable.
