Prepare a coconut water kefir!
Kefir strengthens the immune system and acts as a natural probiotic: it's an excellent health drink that is easy to prepare.
Ingredients:
- About 1L of coconut water
- 2 dried figs
- 20 g of kefir grains
- 40 to 45 g of sugar
- 4 slices of organic lemon
The recipe:
- Place the kefir grains in a large container (airtight bottle), add the sugar, figs, lemon slices, and then the coconut water. (optional: you can add a few slices of ginger)
- Close the bottle and leave at room temperature for at least 24 hours (when the figs rise to the surface, the kefir is ready).
- Strain the drink to remove the figs, lemons, and grains. Bottle it again for 24 hours at room temperature.
- The next day, place the bottle in the fridge and enjoy!
Kefir can be stored in the refrigerator for 3 days.
