🥥 These fresh young organic coconuts, of the Nam Hom variety, are filled with coconut water and also contain fresh coconut flesh.

The light brown coloring of coconuts is perfectly normal. Fresh organic coconuts can be stored in the refrigerator for at least 3 weeks after receipt, or even longer.

Thecoconut water The liquid from immature coconuts is a clear, sterile fluid found inside the coconuts, which is rich in minerals, vitamins, and various micronutrients.

There is much more coconut water in a fresh coconut than in a mature coconut, which contains more flesh and coconut pulp.

As a result, in order to particularly prioritize coconut water and its unique electrolyte content, coconuts are harvested when they are still green and young. Then the green husk is removed, and the fibers surrounding the actual coconut are trimmed into a diamond shape, as you will receive them at home.

🥥 It is very important to consume fresh coconut water immediately after it has been exposed to air. Indeed, this water is a unique and sterile mixture, free from any microbial infection, and exposure to air or, worse, sterilization, greatly destroys many of the micro-nutritional active principles of the coconut. Among these micronutrients are lauric acid (which is only found in coconut and breast milk), iron, potassium, magnesium, calcium, sodium, and phosphorus chloride.

The potassium content in the water of a fresh coconut is twice as high as what is found in a banana, which is already extremely rich in it. Moreover, these are micronutrients that are directly bioavailable and assimilable.

• Magnesium: approximately 15 to 20 mg
• Calcium: approximately 57 to 60 mg
• Sodium: approximately 30 mg
• Energy value: 45 to 60 kcal
• Carbohydrates: 11 to 12 g (natural sugars)
