- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground smoked chilli
Preparation
- If the seeds still have bits of flesh on them, soak them in water for 30 minutes, rinse well, then dry them with a tea towel.
- Mix them in a bowl with the other ingredients of the version you have chosen.
- Spread them on a dehydrator tray.
- Dehydrate for 24 hours, or until they are very crunchy.
- Store in an airtight container.
Tip
To clean the seeds without losing time, drop them straight into a large bowl of water: the flesh floats to the surface and the seeds come away more easily.
The full range Honey
Biovie offers two raw honeys from Andalusia, unprocessed, unpasteurised and unfiltered: avocado honey, thick and caramelised, awarded at the 2022 National Congress of Spanish Beekeepers, and orange blossom honey, lighter and floral. Sourced from fields farmed organically but not certified (honey certification requires a foraging radius of several kilometres, which is hard to guarantee in practice), they keep their original texture and aromas, with no heating that would alter their qualities. Avocado honey pairs well with muesli and pastries; orange blossom honey naturally sweetens infusions and desserts. A handcrafted olive wood spoon completes the range, so you can serve it without losing a drop., 3 products
