With its subtle and natural citrus aromas, it is perfect for use in cooking to naturally sweeten desserts or drinks.
It is raw and unprocessed from hive to jar.

Orange blossom honey crystallizes little. However, this can happen depending on storage conditions, and this phenomenon is normal. It also proves that it has not been heated or pasteurized!

🍯 Our recipes with honey
In practice, this liquid honey fits everywhere, in a warm drink or a plant-based yogurt. Here are the blog recipes where raw honey finds its place, most often added at the end of preparation to keep it raw:
Ginger and lemon water: honey is optional, to sweeten the drink once the infusion has cooled.
Flavored water: 10 homemade recipes: the strawberry and basil version accepts a teaspoon of raw honey, added after the infusion.
Ginger lemon shot: recipe, quantities, and tips: with a variant using a teaspoon of raw honey.
Homemade coconut-pomegranate plant-based yogurt: to be made in a vanilla and raw honey version.
Fermented garlic in honey: recipe and precautions: the complete recipe, with unpasteurized raw honey.
🍯 To serve it without making a mess, our handcrafted olive wood honey spoon is made for that.
Honey is a natural sweetener composed of about 80% glucose and fructose.
Sweetening power: honey has a stronger sweetening power than sugar: therefore, less is needed to sweeten your preparations.
To give you an idea, 70g of honey is enough to replace 100g of sugar.

Thanks to quality control processes, both internal and external, they preserve the original properties of the different honeys and their typicities.

🍯 Your questions about orange blossom honey
My orange blossom honey has crystallized: is it normal, and how to make it liquid again?
Yes, it's normal: crystallization is a natural phenomenon related to glucose, and even though orange blossom honey crystallizes little, it can happen depending on storage conditions. To make it liquid again, place the closed jar in a warm water bath, not exceeding about 40°C, stirring occasionally. Honestly, it's consistent with raw honey, which has not been heated or pasteurized.
How much honey is needed to replace 100g of sugar?
About 70g of honey is enough to replace 100g of sugar, as honey has a stronger sweetening power. In a cake or cream, also consider reducing the other liquids in the recipe a bit, since honey itself adds liquid. The 1kg jar of orange blossom honey prevents you from running out in the middle of a preparation.
Can orange blossom honey be heated in a drink or recipe?
Yes, but to keep it as close to raw as possible, it's better to add it at the end of preparation, when the infusion or drink is warm rather than boiling. This is the principle of our ginger and lemon water, where honey is added once the infusion has cooled. In baking, it withstands cooking very well, it's mostly a matter of taste and texture.
What is the difference between orange blossom honey and avocado honey?
Orange blossom honey is liquid, amber yellow, with a floral and fruity flavor, and it crystallizes little. The avocado honey, from the same Andalusian supplier, is thicker and more caramelized. Both are available in 1kg jars, you can find them in our range of honeys.
In which recipes to use orange blossom honey?
It sweetens infusions, muesli, smoothies, toast, and pastries very well, and it also pairs with sweet and savory dishes. For blog recipes, try the strawberry and basil flavored water with a teaspoon of raw honey, or the vanilla and raw honey version of the coconut-pomegranate plant-based yogurt.
How to store raw honey, and for how long?
This honey is stored at room temperature and dry, in its well-sealed glass jar. The minimum durability date is 24 months.
From what age can honey be given to a child?
Honey should not be given to children under one year old, this is the recommendation of health authorities for all honeys, raw or not. After that, it can be part of a varied and balanced diet, with moderation since it remains a sugar. In case of a particular situation, seek advice from a healthcare professional.
Where does this orange blossom honey come from and who produces it?
It comes from southern Spain, from the Malaga region. It is produced and packaged by Miel y Solo Miel in Colmenar, a small structure that works with beekeepers located about 20 km around its packaging facility.
