Assortment of 4 fresh organic seaweeds, packaged in 1kg (4 x 250g)

Sea lettuce, Wakame, Royal Kombu & Sea bean

(Ulva spp., Undaria pinnatifida, Saccharina latissima & Himanthalia elongata)

🌿 One bag, four seaweeds, four textures. That's the idea behind this assortment: Sea Lettuce, Wakame, Royal Kombu, and Sea Bean, all gathered in a single 1kg package, with 250g of each seaweed. This allows you to explore the full diversity of fresh Breton seaweeds without having to order four separate packages.

Specifically, each of these seaweeds has its own character in cooking: Sea lettuce for its fine texture and vegetal flavor, similar to salad; Wakame for its smoothness and umami; Royal Kombu for its iodized crunch; and Sea bean (also known as sea spaghetti) for its original shape and its unique texture.

For my part, I like to vary the seaweeds from one recipe to another rather than sticking to a single flavor for a whole kilo. This assortment was born from that desire, and from the numerous requests from our customers who wanted to try several fresh seaweeds at once without having to choose.

You can use them as they are in salads, as a side dish for your meals, or to make your own homemade seaweed tartare. The sea bean is also very well suited to a raw and crunchy preparation, as in this recipe that reveals all its iodized flavor.

Desalination : your seaweed is preserved in salt. Take the desired amount for your recipe and briefly soak it in clear water for an initial desalting. Rinse, discard the water, then let it soak again for two to three minutes in clean water. Rinse one last time. If the taste is still too salty for your liking, repeat the process a third time.

The minimum durability date is set at 6 months, but honestly, once you've tasted the assortment, it doesn't last long in the refrigerator !

🌿 Its features:

Like all fresh seaweeds, these four concentrate the minerals and trace elements of the seawater in which they grew. Each has its own profile: Sea Lettuce and Royal Kombu (brown and green seaweeds rich in marine fibers), Wakame for its easily digestible proteins, and Sea Bean for its unusually crunchy texture. Frankly, it's this diversity that we love in an assortment like this — each seaweed complements the others, both in taste and nutritional benefits.

For 100g of product preserved in salt, Sea Lettuce provides 28 Kcal and 2.20 g of protein, Wakame 18 Kcal and 1.35 g of protein, Royal Kombu 22 Kcal and 1.10 g of protein, and Sea Bean 27 Kcal and 1.10 g of protein. You can find the complete details (fats, carbohydrates, salt) in the nutritional table in the "In Practice" tab. These values are, of course, for the fresh and salted product — different from those of a dehydrated seaweed, which is mechanically more concentrated in nutrients at equal weight since the water has been removed.

- Conservation : in the refrigerator.

- Delivery : The shipment of seaweed is carried out on a just-in-time basis, and a few additional days may sometimes be necessary to process your order, depending on the day we are restocked. The seaweed can easily withstand several days of travel without refrigeration, even in high heat, thanks to their salted packaging.

You will receive an email on the day your package is shipped, followed by your tracking number the next day.

It occasionally happens that the seaweed releases a bit of water during transport, despite double packaging. This is rare, but if your package arrives wet, it's not a problem: please accept your package and contact us by email to discuss the situation. We always find an amicable solution.
