Organic tiger nut puree, 450 g jar
Unpasteurized, gluten-free, no added sugar
We are very pleased to offer you exclusively and in partnership with the company Tigernuts a tiger nut puree, certified organic, gluten-free, vegan, and allergen-free. Without additives or preservatives, it is a complete and natural alternative to traditional nut purees.
With no dominant flavor, it easily adapts to different types of preparations and dietary preferences, making it ideal for those seeking healthy and allergen-free alternatives without compromising on taste.
Naturally gluten-free and peanut-free, it is an interesting solution for people with allergies or intolerances.
🟤 This tiger nut puree retains the original properties and nutrients of the tiger nut, this ancient tuber also known as "chufa" and appreciated for centuries for its taste and culinary qualities. It is the fruit of the perennial rhizomatous herbaceous plant called "Chufa" (Cyperus esculentus). It was already popular in Ancient Egypt! Highly appreciated in sub-Saharan Africa and Spain, its unique naturally sweet taste is reminiscent of hazelnut or almond.
Just like our other products, the tiger nut used is sourced from fair trade in Niger in partnership with Tigernuts.
Thanks to its ultra-fine texture, with particles less than 120 microns, this tiger nut cream offers an unprecedented sensory experience. Its natural richness in iron, potassium, and fiber, as well as the absence of added sugars, make it a superfood for the most demanding and responsible consumer. Unpasteurized, this tiger nut puree still keeps very well.
🟤 The tiger nut puree, with its mild and neutral flavor as well as its unique and delicious taste, is ideal for a variety of uses: from preparing bars, granolas, and energy balls to creating plant-based creams. It is also perfect for recharging energy after physical training.
It can also be consumed as a plant-based milk: to prepare a tiger nut-based drink with a generous body and creamy texture, it is recommended to use one volume of puree for four volumes of water. This mixture produces a creamy drink thanks to the natural starch of the cream, which acts as a natural thickener and enhances the sensory experience with every sip!

🟤 Its composition:
- Tigernuts offer a delicious alternative for gluten-free diets, grain-free, low-carb diets, or for people allergic to nuts. Frankly, it's one of the few ingredients that ticks all these boxes at once - with a truly natural sweet taste that satisfies small cravings.
- It's a better source of omega-9 than olive oil. Tigernuts also provide vitamins C and E as well as natural antioxidants (including rutin) - to the point that the cosmetic industry has been interested in it for a long time.
- Weight for weight, tigernuts provide more potassium than bananas. Potassium contributes to normal muscle function and the normal functioning of the nervous system, as part of a varied and balanced diet.
- In terms of composition, it also provides amino acids, including arginine.
- Tigernuts provide fiber - much more than oats, carrots, or dates. A profile rarely found in a plant-based puree, especially since it contains only tigernuts.
- Since this puree is not pasteurized, it retains the enzymes naturally present in tigernuts (amylase, lipase, catalase). That's the whole point of a raw puree.
