🧡 Maracujas, another name for passion fruits, originate from South America. They are highly valued for their remarkable sweet-tart taste. The fruit trees grow in the lands of Andalusia, under the sun, with exceptional expertise for sustainable and responsible cultivation. We want you to taste this organic quality, directly from the producer !

Harvested at physiological maturity by our partner Iulian, located on the Spanish Tropical Coast.
To withstand transportation, the fruits are delivered still firm and will be ready to eat a few days after receipt. Once ripe, you can store them in the fridge for up to 15 days.

Passion fruit is a nutritional gem. For about a hundred calories per 100 grams, it provides an array of interesting nutrients - considering that we often consume only a small portion at a time, which makes its contribution reasonable within the context of a varied and balanced diet.

🧡 Its nutritional benefits:

- Rich in fiber (6.8 g per 100 g): it is one of the fresh fruits that contains the most, according to the Ciqual table.

- Rich in vitamin C (25.6 mg per 100 g, or 32% of the reference nutritional values), which contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system. This vitamin also increases the absorption of iron by the body.

- Rich in vitamin B9 or folates (101 µg per 100 g, or 50% of the NRV), which contribute to normal blood formation and help reduce fatigue.

- Source of vitamin A (21% of the NRV), which contributes to the maintenance of normal vision.

- Copper source (15% of the NRV), which contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system.

- Low in fat (3 g per 100 g).

It also contains phosphorus, iron, potassium, and anthocyanins - natural pigments that are also found in many colorful fruits and vegetables (blueberry, beetroot, red cabbage...) and give passion fruit its characteristic hue.

Direct route Andalusia

We cannot be more direct from this producer in Spain, in Granada! Iulian Perseca has taken over the family business since 2018. Two generations have succeeded in cultivating the various fields organically.lawyers, of mangoes, of Cherimoyas and other local and seasonal exotic fruits, all of excellent quality and enhanced by the sun of southern Spain.
