♦️ It's pomegranate season! A fruit native to the Mediterranean basin, it is found from October to March in most producing countries lucky enough to have a climate mild enough to host it. Our partner Iulian grows pomegranate trees on his land in Andalusia and we want you to taste this organic quality, direct from the producer!

> Harvested at physiological ripeness by our partner Iulian, located on the Spanish Costa Tropical.
> To withstand transport, the fruits are delivered still firm and will be ready to eat a few days after receipt. Once ripe, you can keep them for up to 15 days in the fridge.

- A fruit made up of nearly 80% water
- Polyphenols (anthocyanins, tannins), compounds naturally present in many red fruits and responsible for its intense colour
- Crunchy seeds, to be eaten whole to enjoy the whole fruit, as part of a varied and balanced diet

Direct supply chain from Andalusia
We can't get more direct than this producer from Spain in Granada! Iulian Pescara took over the family business in 2018. 2 generations have followed one another, farming organically the various fields ofavocados, mangoes, , cherimoyas and other seasonal, local fruits, all of excellent quality and enhanced by the sun of southern Spain.
The pomegranates come in 4-kilo packs.
Shipping is directly from Malaga, from the producer, by GLS. Once your parcel has been shipped, home delivery takes 2/3 working days (non-contractual). You will receive an email from the carrier GLS to inform you that your parcel has been shipped, with a tracking link.
If you order other products from our shop, you will also have to pay the standard delivery charges for your other products: one parcel will leave from Marseille and another from Malaga. Arrival in 2 separate parcels.

When is a pomegranate ripe and ready to eat?
On receipt, the pomegranates are still firm: this is necessary so they withstand transport well. Allow a few days after receipt for them to ripen. Once ripe, they keep for up to 15 days in the fridge.

Where do the pomegranates come from and are they organic?
These pomegranates are grown organically by our partner Iulian Pescara, on the Costa Tropical, in Andalusia, in southern Spain. The family farm, which he took over in 2018, has been growing various organic seasonal fruits for two generations: avocados, mangoes, cherimoyas and pomegranates.
How does pomegranate delivery work?
The pomegranates come in 4-kilo packs and are shipped directly from Malaga, from the producer, by GLS. Home delivery takes 2 to 3 working days (non-contractual lead time), with a GLS tracking email. If your order contains only fruit, shipping is included. If you also order other Biovie products, one parcel will leave from Marseille and another from Malaga, with the standard shipping charges for your other products.
Can they be delivered to a pick-up point or to Switzerland?
No: this product cannot be delivered to a pick-up point, nor to Switzerland.
