♦️ It's pomegranate season! Originally from the Mediterranean basin, it is found from October to March in most producing countries fortunate enough to have a mild climate. Our partner Iulian grows pomegranate trees on his land in Andalusia, and we want you to taste this organic quality, directly from the producer!

> To withstand transport, the fruits are delivered still firm and will be ready to consume a few days after receipt. Once ripe, you can keep them for up to 15 days in the fridge.
♦️ What makes the pomegranate interesting from a nutritional point of view:
- A low-calorie fruit, composed of nearly 80% water
- A notable content of polyphenols (anthocyanins, tannins), compounds naturally present in many red fruits and responsible for its intense color

We can't get more direct from this producer in Spain in Granada! Iulian Perseca took over the family business in 2018. Two generations have succeeded in cultivating various fields of avocados, mangoes, cherimoyas and other seasonal and local fruits, all of excellent quality and enhanced by the sun of southern Spain.
The packaging of the pomegranates is 4 kilos.
The shipment is made directly from Malaga, at the producer, by GLS. Once your package is shipped, delivery to your home is done in 2/3 business days (non-contractual). You will receive an email from the GLS carrier to inform you of the shipment of your package with a tracking link.
If you order other products from our store, you will also have to pay the usual delivery fees for your other products: one package will leave from Marseille and another from Malaga. Arrival in 2 separate packages.

When is the pomegranate ripe and ready to eat?
Upon receipt, the pomegranates are still firm: this is necessary for them to withstand transport well. Count a few days after receipt for them to reach maturity. Once ripe, they can be stored for up to 15 days in the refrigerator.

Where do the pomegranates come from and are they organic?
These pomegranates are organically grown by our partner Iulian Perseca, on the Costa Tropical, in Andalusia, in southern Spain. The family farm, which he took over in 2018, has been cultivating various seasonal fruits organically for two generations: avocados, mangoes, cherimoyas, and pomegranates.
How is the delivery of the pomegranates handled?
The pomegranates are packaged in 4 kilos and shipped directly from Malaga, at the producer, by GLS. Home delivery is done in 2 to 3 business days (non-contractual delay), with a GLS tracking email. If your order only includes fruits, the shipping is included. If you also order other Biovie products, one package will leave from Marseille and another from Malaga, with the usual shipping fees for your other products.
Can delivery be made to a relay point or in Switzerland?
No: this product cannot be delivered to a relay point or in Switzerland.
