Broccoli comes from the Italian "brocco", meaning shoot. Sprouted broccoli and young broccoli shoots were already much appreciated in Roman times!
🌱 Its mild raw cabbage flavour is slightly spicier than the vegetable.
Soaking: 12 hours
Sprouting time: 4 to 6 days
It is very easy to grow in theEasygreen Light or in theEasygreen Sol from 16°C: the hulls stay at the base and the dense root network allows rapid vertical growth.
