Banana picked at maturity and freeze-dried, Gros Michel variety

We are pleased to offer you bananas harvested at maturity in Vietnam, freeze-dried into crunchy slices, in a resealable 200 g pouch.

After the success of the Durian, we wanted to expand our range of freeze-dried fruits. We were captivated by the intense and concentrated flavor of these bananas - the best we have tasted so far. A true natural candy with pure fruit taste, without added sugar or additives.

The fruits are grown in a tropical climate conducive to their growth and are picked at full maturity just before being freeze-dried: this ensures optimal flavor and perfect texture. Our supplier is not certified organic, but the fruits are certified. "without pesticide residues".

    > Variety: Gros Michel, renowned for its creamy flesh, pronounced aroma, and natural sweetness.

Discover the banana in a crunchy version: a tasty and 100% fruit to industrial confectioneries - for children as well as for adults.

    Our usage ideas:

    • In gourmet snack, nature, instead of candies, cookies, or sweet chips
    • In your mueslis, granolas, and porridges for an intense fruity touch
    • Mixed into powder to flavor your Smoothies, plant-based yogurts and desserts
    • Incorporated into your Plant-based recipes : energy balls, cookies, crumbles, raw pastries
    • In Topping on your bowls, homemade ice creams, raw chocolates
    • To naturally flavor your fermented drinks kefir and kombucha House

Tip: The taste of these bananas is particularly concentrated, incorporate them in small quantities into your preparations.

❄️ Here are the principles of the Freeze-drying explained by Miguel Barthelery:

    > This technique appeared in France at the beginning of the 20th century.and "siècle sèche les aliments par" translates to "century dries food by" in English. Sublimation : the product is first frozen, then its water evaporates under vacuum. The water goes directly from a solid state to a gaseous state, without passing through a liquid state. Because no heat is involved, freeze-drying preserves the volume, appearance, flavor, and texture of the food.

    bananes

    > A whole fruit, a whole taste

Our freeze-dried bananas are made of 100% fruit : no added sugar, no additives, no preservatives, no oil. Just the Gros Michel banana, picked at maturity and cold dehydrated to preserve all its integrity.

    > A flavor concentrated by freeze-drying

Freeze-drying removes only the water from the fruit - about 75 to 80% of its original weight. As a result, the flavors and natural sugars of the banana are concentrated in each slice. The taste is more intense than that of a fresh banana, and the texture is both crunchy and melt-in-your-mouth. A true natural candy with pure fruit flavor.

    > A preserved natural composition

The banana naturally contains fiber, potassium, magnesium, and vitamin B6. Because freeze-drying is done cold, without thermal intervention, the natural nutritional composition of the fruit is preserved - unlike fried banana chips or hot-dried fruits.

    > A delicious alternative to industrial candies

Crunchy, light, portable, with no added sugar: freeze-dried bananas are a great substitute for candies, cookies, and sweet chips. Perfect to slip into a school bag, a sports bag, a picnic basket, or on the corner of a desk for the 11 a.m. break.

    > A versatile ingredient in cooking

Whole, in pieces, or ground into powder, they can be incorporated into raw preparations (energy balls, bars, granolas) as well as pastries, smoothies, or fermented drinks. Their dry form allows for long storage without loss of aroma.
