Rustic & Ancient Organic Wheat Grass to Germinate

(From Timilia variety)

Wheatgrass closely looks like the grass commonly found in our gardens. Its growth is rapid and lush. In nature, the spikes can reach nearly 6 feet! Consumed as juice with an extractor, it provides an exceptional intake of nutrients, vitamins, and chlorophyll. Wheatgrass juice is gluten-free and has been a cornerstone of the program at the renowned Hippocrates Health Institute for 70 years.

🌾 What are the benefits of consuming wheatgrass?

The nutritional benefits of wheatgrass sprouts are well-documented, offering a wide range of trace elements, essential fatty acids, vitamins, enzymes, minerals, and antioxidants beneficial to human health. It contains particularly high levels of chlorophyll, known for its detoxifying properties and its ability to promote healthy blood circulation.

It is a complete food that benefits all dietary regimes.

Despite the abundant nutrients in wheatgrass and the excellent results obtained by Ann Wigmore at her Hippocrates Health Institute with wheatgrass juice, some clarifications are necessary. Wheatgrass juice produces a beverage with a very sweet taste that is not suitable for everyone, both in terms of taste and biochemistry. The slightly bitter taste of barley grass, especially when mixed with carrot juice, for example, may be more suitable for some individuals.

🌾 How to consume wheat seeds?

We recommend sprouting them, then cutting the wheat shoots above the seed to juice them. If the juice's taste is too strong, you can dilute it in a glass of vegetable juice or plant-based milk.

advice: Soaking: 12 hours Germination: 48 hours.
Afterward, plant your sprouted wheat seeds in soil and harvest after 7 days when the grass reaches 10 cm in height and has a beautiful green color.

The Easygreen Light is the most suitable automatic sprouter for regular and large-scale production. For a more moderate grass cultivation, the Easygreen Sol autonomous sprouter or your traditional sprouters are also suitable and very easy to use.

If you don't have a juicer, we recommend using our dehydrated barley grass powder.

🌾 Choice of wheat variety

We offer the rustic, ancient, and certified organic Timilia wheat variety. This high-quality variety was chosen for germination because it is particularly well-suited for wheatgrass production. Wheatgrass juice has a much milder taste than juice extracted from traditional hard wheatgrass, and the quantity extracted is higher.

Reminder: Wheatgrass juice is gluten-free, making it suitable for people with intolerances.

• It is one of the most complete foods, with 92 of the 102 of the minerals and trace elements present in the plant kingdom and all the amino acids. • It is one of the most important sources of A, C and E vitamins, which contributes to the oxygenation of the blood and protects the cells from aging. It also contains B17 vitamin (the same found in the kernels of the apricot kernel), known for its anti-cancer role.

• Its richness in highly assimilable chlorophyll further helps to improve blood circulation and detoxify the organs, especially the liver. Chlorophyll also has an anti-bacterial and regenerative action on the intestinal sphere, blood and lymph. It also helps to regulate the level of sugar in the blood.

• Diuretic, wheatgrass fights against constipation.

• It is one of the richest foods in phytosterols and lutein, antioxidants that protect the heart (lowering cholesterol, regulating blood pressure) and the retina (slowing down macular degeneration), respectively.
