Fresh Organic Sea Lettuce Algae, 1kg or 500g
🌿 Sea lettuce (ulva lactuca) is a green seaweed, very common in the Atlantic Ocean, where it is harvested year-round. Fresh, its flexible leaves allow you to make wraps and hold vegetables or preparations.
Its robust flavor, with a taste similar to sorrel, will enhance your salads and dressings, offering them a true concentrate of chlorophyll and energy! Consume after two desalting baths.
As the seaweeds are preserved in salt, they soften more quickly and become more brittle after a few months. But we are sure you won't need to keep them for 6 months!

🎧 As well as our podcast Seaweed in Daily Life!
🌿 Its features:
Its vitamin C content is 8 to 10 times higher than that of an orange, and its vitamin A content is 2 times higher than that of cabbage.
It contains 10 times more iron than spinach and 10 to 20 times more calcium than milk.
10 times richer in magnesium than wheat germ, consuming 20 grams of fresh sea lettuce ensures you meet your entire daily magnesium needs!
Its high antioxidant content makes it a star food in the prevention of certain cancers and cardiovascular diseases.

Manual collection on the foreshore – From May to October
- Storage: in the refrigerator
- Delivery: The shipment of seaweed is done on a just-in-time basis, and a few additional days are sometimes necessary to process your order, depending on the day we are restocked. The seaweed can easily withstand several days of travel without refrigeration, even in high heat, thanks to their salt bath packaging.
You will receive an email on the day your package is shipped, followed by your tracking number the next day.
It may happen that the seaweed releases a bit of water during transport, despite a double zip packaging. This is rare, but if your box arrives wet, it is not a problem, please accept your package and contact us by email to discuss. In 10 years, we have always found amicable arrangements, but refusals of fresh goods mean that the goods are lost, and we wish to avoid these situations.
