🌱 A special FAQ video on sprouted seeds:

🌱 As well as a video of an interview we had the pleasure of filming with Dario Bavicchi:

✍️ Sheet written by Eric Viard, tropical agronomist engineer (ISTOM), co-founder of Biovie since 2007, author of the book Algae in Everyday Life awarded the Gourmand World Cookbook Award and the National Academy of Cuisine Prize. Updated in 2026.

🌱 Clover is currently the subject of numerous studies around the world for its many virtues:

    • Alkalizing and remineralizing, it helps restore digestive and hormonal balance. It will be particularly useful in cases of fatigue, convalescence, or immune deficiency, as well as for athletes, whose tissues tend to acidify.

    • An excellent general detoxifier, it cleanses and particularly strengthens the liver and pancreas.

    • It is also a pulmonary drainer with antitussive properties.

    • As an antispasmodic for the nervous system, it has sedative properties.

    • It helps stabilize blood sugar levels and may contribute to the prevention and management of heart diseases. Studies on the isoflavones in legumes from the clover family indicate that their regular consumption helps lower the so-called "bad" cholesterol (LDL) and increase the "good" cholesterol (HDL).

    • Its estrogen-like isoflavones are a great help in alleviating the discomforts caused by menopause. To learn more: natural treatments to relieve menopause.

    • These same isoflavones delay skin aging, combat osteoporosis, and are believed to have an anti-cancer effect.

🌱 Sprouted Clover Seeds: Precautions to Know

Clover sprouts are safe for the vast majority of healthy individuals when consumed in reasonable quantities (30 to 40 g of sprouts per day). Some precautions: pregnant or breastfeeding women should seek medical advice due to isoflavones. Individuals on hormone therapy or anticoagulants should consult a healthcare professional. Thoroughly rinsing the seeds before and after germination is an essential hygiene practice.

    - Garnish your raw wraps, sandwiches, or plant-based toasts.
