Questions & answers

All about Clays.

The questions we get asked most often, and our straight answers.

💚 What are the different types of clays that we offer? And what type of skin are they suitable for?

> In our store, you will find:

- Montmorillonite clay from Mont Ventoux: essential for purifying and regulating excess sebum, it is also renowned for its absorbent and healing properties. As a face mask, poultice, or for internal use, it is your ally for soothing inflammations and for deeply regenerating the skin.

- Illite clay:
known for its high absorbent power, it is particularly recommended for skin with mild acne tendencies, helping to eliminate impurities, toxins, and soothe the skin.

- White clay Morélie : gentle and light, it is perfectly suited for sensitive, irritated, or dry skin. Thanks to its soothing and softening properties, it can be used to calm redness, gently purify, and restore radiance to delicate skin.

- Rassal clay: perfect for dull and tired complexions, it stimulates microcirculation, improves skin radiance, and gives it a luminous and healthy appearance. It also gently cleanses all hair types and the body, without a cleansing base or foam.

- Ghassoul in flakes: originating from Morocco, ghassoul is a volcanic clay with exceptional properties. Used for daily hair and body care, it cleanses deeply while respecting the skin's hydrolipidic film.

Clay

💚 How often should clay be used? Are there any precautions to take when using clay?

> For oily or combination skin, a green clay mask can be used once a week to regulate sebum production.

> Normal to combination skin can use illite clay once or twice a week.

> For sensitive skin, white clay can be applied alternately with green clay.

> Dull skin can benefit from a rhassal clay mask once a week to restore radiance and freshness.

> It is recommended to perform a skin test before applying a clay mask, especially if you have sensitive skin. Apply a small amount to a patch of skin to check for any allergic reaction. Additionally, avoid letting the mask dry completely on your face, as this can cause a tightening sensation. Rinse it off when the mask is still slightly damp.
