🥥 Exceptional fresh coconuts, an exclusive in France
Direct from the producer!
We offer the Nam Hom Thai variety, the most renowned coconut variety worldwide for its exquisite taste, highly prized for its aromatic and gentle water. This variety is exclusively grown in Thailand.
In 2017, we conducted numerous trials and research to develop the entire organic fresh young coconut supply chain from scratch with Liu, our partner. Today, in addition to practicing organic farming, our producers adhere to fair trade criteria: fair remuneration, decent working conditions, promotion of gender equality, and more.
🥥 Characteristics of young coconuts
Coconuts are harvested when they are green and young to maximize coconut water (and minimize flesh). Crack open the coconut, insert a straw, and enjoy sweet, fresh, pure, remineralizing, and highly refreshing coconut water. Unlike the mature brown coconuts we are more familiar with, the coconut meat inside is thin and tender (spoonable!).
Our coconuts are hand-cut simply, with precise gestures, for easy transportation. For more information on production conditions, visit the "sector" tab.
They are organic from the nursery to shipment, which is done without the use of synthetic fungicides on the drupe (unlike non-organic coconuts). Our soaking solution is also natural and organic.
> Note: the development of brown spots on the outer husk does not imply degradation of the water and flesh, as coconuts are sealed. Simply put, the shell oxidizes over time, similar to how a banana peel turns black. The light brown coloration of coconuts is perfectly normal! Open them up and taste them if in doubt, it's the best way to know!
> The film around the coconuts is biodegradable.
> Organic fresh coconuts can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks after receipt.
🥥Coconut water from immature coconuts is a clear sterile liquid found inside coconuts and is loaded with minerals, vitamins, and various micronutrients. There is much more coconut water in a fresh coconut than in a mature coconut, which contains more flesh.
It is crucial to consume fresh coconut water immediately after exposure to air. This water is a unique and sterile blend, free from any microbial infection. Exposure to air or, at worst, sterilization destroys many of the coconut's micronutrient active principles. Among these micronutrients are lauric acid (found only in coconut and breast milk), iron, potassium, magnesium, calcium, sodium...
In fact, the potassium content of water from a fresh coconut is twice as high as what you would find in a banana, which is already extremely rich in potassium. Furthermore, these are micronutrients that are directly bioavailable and assimilable.

The soaking of coconuts described in our YouTube video is done in an organic food solution that we ourselves developed in close collaboration with the university in Bangkok and our supplier. This bath is not imposed by European regulations; simply put, without this bath, the coconuts would degrade during transport!

In Metropolitan France (except Corsica), the shipment is done preferentially by DPD, which delivers, from Marseille, in 24 hours, the 3/4 of the French territory, apart from the north-west area in 48 hours (see DPD deliveries functioning and the map of deliveries). Please inform your address with door code if there is one.
DPD can deliver up to 2 boxes. In order to optimize the shipping costs, it is often preferable to make separate orders, 2 carton boxes at a time.

Shipping adresses
Please note that the fresh coconuts are available for pre-order only. We do not have stock for this fresh product. We receive one delivery per month, in general, completely booked in advance. From the delivery receiving, the coconuts are shipped the fastest as possible in the order that they have been ordered.
If you order coconuts and other products from the shop outside of the straws or machetes, the other products will be automatically sent in a different package.
You can, the day before the shipment, choose another delivery adress or decide to receive the delivery in pick-up points if you opt for the DPD carrier. For that, you will have to answer before midnight to the text message or email sent by DPD the day before the delivery.
