Fresh Organic Nori Seaweed, 1kg or 500g
Well known in Japanese cuisine, especially in its dried seaweed form for making makis, nori (porphyra purpurea) is a staple of raw food diets! This wild seaweed is the most consumed in the world.
🌿 Nori is as thin as a veil, with a beautiful dark purple color. Fresh nori seaweed can be consumed in seaweed tartare, salad, seasoning... Its mild and woody flavor, subtly fragrant, is reminiscent of dried mushrooms.
Since the seaweeds are preserved in salt, they soften more quickly and become more brittle after a few months. But we are sure you won't need to keep them for 6 months!
Desalting: your seaweeds are preserved in salt. Take the desired amount of seaweed to consume directly in a salad or another recipe. Briefly soak them in water for an initial desalting. Rinse, then discard the water. Let them soak for two to three minutes in a sufficient amount of water. Rinse.
If the seaweeds taste too salty, rinse them a third time.

🌿 Its features:
Its exceptional protein content (45%) surpasses that of soy, meat, and eggs. It is the second richest seaweed in protein, just after spirulina!
Its powerful supply of vitamins A, B2, B9, B12, C, and K, as well as essential fatty acids (omega 3 and 6), ensures your immune and nervous well-being. It is particularly rich in vitamin B12 (29mg per 100g).
Its richness in iron, zinc, copper, and manganese further contributes to the oxygenation of the body, strengthening the immune system, and collagen synthesis for supple, hydrated tissues and radiant skin.
Nori also contains glutamine and taurine, which maintain the integrity of intestinal walls and nerve relaxation, and also help reduce cholesterol levels.

Manual collection on the foreshore – From April to June and from September to the end of October
- Storage: in the refrigerator
- Delivery: The shipment of seaweed is done on a just-in-time basis, and a few additional days are sometimes necessary to process your order, depending on the day we are restocked. The seaweed can easily withstand several days of travel without refrigeration, even in high heat, thanks to their salt bath packaging.
You will receive an email on the day your package is shipped, followed by your tracking number the next day.
It may happen that the seaweed releases a bit of water during transport, despite a double zip packaging. This is rare, but if your box arrives wet, it is not a problem, please accept your package and contact us by email to discuss. In 10 years, we have always found amicable arrangements, but refusals of fresh goods mean that the goods are lost, and we wish to avoid these situations.
