Organic unhulled Sunflower seeds for sprouting

🌱 The sunflower first appeared in North America, where it is said to have already been grown by native peoples.

Soaking: As the seed coat of the sunflower seed is particularly thick, it is best to soak the seeds for 24 hours before setting them to sprout. In addition, this seed is sensitive to day length, and only germinates properly from mid-February to mid-November at our latitudes.

> Germination: Young sunflower shoots are the seed whose success is most spectacular with the Easygreen Light or the Easygreen Sol. In classic sprouting, it is a delicate seed to grow traditionally as young shoots and in dense sowing.

The Easygreen Light and the Easygreen Sol offer the optimal humidity and ventilation conditions to succeed with unhulled sunflower. They will give you succulent shoots in 8 to 11 days depending on the temperature.

🌱 Some people grow only this shoot in large trays. For this, choose a growing substrate such as potting compost: this will let you take the trays out of the sprouter from the 10th day. At this stage, the seeds are far less sensitive and you can leave the tray out of the sprouter to start a new tray.
