We are pleased to offer you bananas harvested when ripe in Thailand, and freeze-dried in slices in a 200g resealable bag.
After the success of Durian, we wanted to offer you other varieties of fruit in freeze-dried format. We were won over by the intense fruit flavor that this partner offers us, these are the best we have tasted so far! A real candy with a concentrated fruit flavor, just like its benefits.
The fruits are grown in a climate conducive to their growth (exotic fruits) and above all, they are picked at full maturity just before being freeze-dried. It is the guarantee of a quality product. Our supplier is not certified organic but the cultivation is and the fruits are certified "without pesticide residues".

This technique, which appeared in France at the start of the 20th century, dries food by sublimation: the product is first frozen, before evaporating its water under vacuum. Thus, water passes directly from a solid state to a gas without passing through the liquid state! Because there is no heat intervention, freeze-drying retains the volume, appearance and all the benefits of the food.
¤ Bananas are already well known for their fiber content, which helps regulate intestinal transit and helps keep the digestive tract healthy. In addition, its potassium content and alkalizing effect would help relieve heartburn.
¤ What is less known is the fact that bananas make you smile! Thanks to its B6 vitamin content: it stimulates the production of neurotransmitters which contribute to our good mood, such as serotonin and dopamine. Dopamine is linked in the reward circuit, while serotonin has the property of acting as an antidepressant.
This coupled with the presence of tryptophan, an amino acid essential for the creation of serotonin, bananas are "de-stressing" and fight against temporary depression. Enough to have a smile all over your face ;)

Directly from Thailand
Thailand has a favorable climate for growing the Gross Michel banana. This variety was the most widespread in the world until the 1950s. Unfortunately a disease struck bananas and the more resistant Cavendish variety took over exports.
A few small producers nonetheless continue to cultivate and perpetuate Gross Michel, whose taste is stronger than our current varieties. Moreover, it is on the basis of its taste that the banana aroma was created!
The fruits are certified as "pesticide residue free", quite simply because there is no need for them during cultivation.

Storage: Store in a dry place. Once opened, the banana may regain some moisture and become less crunchy over time.
