?Did you know ? "Methi" is the Indian name for fenugreek! As a vegetable, herb or spice, it is essential in Indian cuisine as well as in Ayurvedic herbal medicine. Indeed, it is one of the seeds with the most complete properties: hypoglycemic, anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, galactogen, aphrodisiac, cardiovascular protector ... it still acts as an anabolic and improves the assimilation of proteins!
(For a plate)
? 1 large handful of sprouted fenugreek seeds
? 1/3 cucumber, finely cut into quarters
? 1 diced tomato (or cherry tomatoes cut in half)
? 1/2 chopped onion
? 1 small handful of raw cashews
? coriander
? The sauce:
? 2 tbsp olive oil
? 1 tbsp of marine plasma
? 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
? 1 dash of lemon juice
? pepper
N.B. The salad will also be delicious with young fenugreek shoots! You can you add a bit of apple to balance the bitterness? ?
