🌞 Ryan joined Team Biovie at the beginning of 2024. He has a degree in sales and marketing/communication and has worked in a wide variety of fields in several chains, including Biocoop.
A year after finishing his studies, he set up a vegan and ethical concept store (groceries, cosmetics and snacks) with his partner in the centre of Marseille (Coco&Nuts Concept Store).
After more than 4 years in business, at a difficult time for small traders (health situation, inflation, etc.), he decided to sell his business to set off on an adventure and learn about the world of agriculture: A few stints in communities and eco-places, with a market gardener in agro-ecology, with winemakers in natural wine and in a chestnut grove with his little camper van and his dogs 🐕, gave him the desire to experiment a little more in these areas and learn more, but above all to live in the countryside most of the year 🌳.
Food has been important to him for the last eight years, after several experiments he doesn't want to be in a dedicated diet box, but advocates organic and local (& living) produce as a priority!
🥥 He discovered BIOVIE during the first sales of fresh coconuts and subsequently organised group orders for Marseille/Aix until today!
He didn't hesitate to join us given the shared values, and the opportunity to be nomadic and flexible.
Ryan is in charge of logistics and B2B relations, i.e. he manages the stocks (tracking, orders, etc.) on our website and is in constant contact with our suppliers and professional customers. He is also currently a seasonal farmer's helper on a small organic farm in Ardèche (France)👨🌾, where he works remotely in an ideal environment for him.
