Coconut-curry tortillas - raw, gluten-free
Package of 4 round maxi-wraps made from fresh organic coconut, 100g
Biovie et Version Crue present Rawcoco : the coconut-curry tortilla
Following the 1 month late arrival of our organic coconuts container, we suggested to Version Crue to use part of it for a new wrap recipe. Neither one nor two, they took up the challenge! The fresh coconuts, still quite good but not marketable because of this date, is a product that Virgil and his team had not yet worked on. After many trials and recipe tests, the RAWCOCOs were born!
Round maxi-wraps like a tortilla, with a spicy curry taste, they are delicious. And in ultra-limited edition, there are only 180 packages on sale!!
Take a look behind the scenes of how these wraps are made:
Why to buy these wraps?
You will never find them again in the store... or elsewhere!
They are the result of the rescue of coconuts which should have ended up in the dumpster while they were still safe to eat.
Spread a guacamole or almond curry cream on the tortilla.
Place some salad, sprouted seeds and grated carrots in the wraps.
Roll up like a Mexican wrap. Enjoy!
Fresh coconut flesh*, fresh coconut water*, tamari* (water, soy beans*, sea salt, alcohol*, aspergillus oryzae), curry spice mixes* (coriander, fenugreek, turmeric, cumin, black pepper, cinnamon, mustard, ginger, cloves, sweet pepper), garlic*.
*ingredients from organic farming.
Note: this recipe is not yet certified organic, although all the ingredients are organic.
STORAGE: the tortillas must be stored IN THE REFRIGERATOR and eaten quickly.
• These tortillas are made with fresh Cocobio coconuts sold in the shop, flesh and coconut water included.
• These wraps are the result of the fusion between fast food and living food. Unlike classic wraps, they're gluten-free, vegan and no-bake, so they're super nutritious. Their fiber and protein content are higher than commercial wheat wraps.
• Rich in flavor and colorful, they are a very easy way to incorporate raw vegetables into your meals.
• The dehydratation of the tortillas at very low temperature preserves all the nutritional qualities (enzymes, vitamins, minerals, etc.) of the plants and spices used in the recipe.
