Germination mats for mucilaginous seeds or kitchen garden plants
These germination mats in kenaf, custom-made for the Easygreen, are the result of a research work in collaboration with the company Sirane horticulture in England. These compostable mats are single-use because the roots of the seeds get mixed intimately to the mat fibers, so they cannot be used twice. They enable you to grow mucilaginous seeds: mustard, arugula, flax seeds, chia, cress, etc.
You can also use them with conventional seeds such as unpeeled sunflower or unpeeled buckwheat, you will be able, in this case, for example, to bring the young sprouts mat on the table and serve you directly on it.
Thanks to their small size, these mats enable also to start vegetable seeds in the Easygreen and then transplant the young sprouts in the ground, by simply burying the mats, which will eventually degrade.
Packed by 20 units, at a rate of 2 units per tray, a pack of 20 enables you to grow 10 medium Easygreen trays in total.
